Remove the cap. Turn the pen over (tip down) and put tip on the glass slide

Coat an appropriate area of the slide with Tissue Capture liquid

Pickup the section on the coated area of the slide

Deparaffinize tissue sections and hydrate to water

Wipe away excess liquid around the sections on the glass slide

If using the PAP pen encircle the tissue sections or draw lines on both sides of the section with Liquid Blocker and let dry 10-15 seconds

You are now ready to begin your labeling protocol

Provides a sticky membrane on slide

Prevents the tissue from moving, wrinkling or falling off the slide

Flattens the section and eliminates the need for hot water extension

Suitable for microwave protocols

Use with Liquid Blocker Pen for small scale cultures

Suitable for in-situ hybridization

Stable up to 120°
